problem after installing C++builder 2007 upgrade 3

Hi,

After installing C++ builder 2007 update 3, i can not use anymore it.
everything has been deleted by update before to try to install update
itself.

i therefore reinstall C++ builder 2007, restart PC, and it downloads
update 3.
if i agree to install update, it erase the folder, unregisters
components, and so on...

where is the problem ?

i would to test this version to know if it make sense for our company to
by this version or if we should stay with BCB6 :-) therefore, i would
like to convert some basic testing applications and to see
compatibilties and other issues like we met when we migrated from an
older version to BCB6.

That sounds like it is working as-designed. It is not a
light-weight patch.

Did you let it continue? Again, that sounds as-designed.

I was only able to get update 3 to install by removing C++Builder 2007
from my machine, running update 3, and letting the update ask for my
install dvd.
